Sushi Masa

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow from start to finish. We arrived well before two other tables, yet both of those tables received their food before we did, even though we had been there about 20 minutes longer. The food itself was not worth the price. At around $40 per person, we expected much better quality and portion sizes. The sushi pieces were very small, and to make matters worse, about half of our order never arrived. We had to repeatedly remind our server about missing items, which made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, the combination of slow service, missing food, small portions, and high prices made for a very poor dining experience. Unfortunately, I would not return and cannot recommend this restaurant. Would give it 0 STARS..

Omg first time here will not be back . The sushi rolls are premade not fresh like I went to Kroger and got sushi. Yuck the pineapple not fresh was out of a can. Only thing good was the fried rice and chicken teriyaki. Won't be back I will let others know to continue to go to Sushi Masu and hibachi off Hebron pwy in Carrollton.... This place worst sushi rolls ever not fresh at all .

The two best things about Sushi Masa in Plano, Texas are the atmosphere and the service. The restaurant is theme decorated beautifully, and the service was very friendly, helpful, and amazingly fast. As a party of five all you can eat adults we ordered a large variety of sushi selections. Unfortunately, the actual presentation was not like the photos on the menu, and the flavor differences between different rolls were fairly indistinct. Also, the appetizers were paltry in size. I was expecting better. As great as the environment and service was, it can't make up for mediocre food.

I had an amazing experience at Sushi Masa! From the moment we walked in, the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The service was quick, attentive, and efficient without ever feeling rushed, making the entire dining experience enjoyable. The quality of the seafood was outstanding. Every piece of sushi tasted incredibly fresh, with rich flavors and perfect texture. You can immediately tell they take pride in using high-quality ingredients. The salmon practically melted in my mouth, the tuna was buttery and flavorful, and every specialty roll was beautifully presented and packed with delicious combinations. Even the rice was perfectly seasoned, complementing the fish without overpowering it. One thing that really impressed me was the consistency. Every dish that arrived at our table looked just as good as it tasted. The portions were generous, and there was an excellent variety of sushi, sashimi, appetizers, and hot dishes to choose from. Whether you’re a sushi enthusiast or trying it for the first time, there’s something on the menu for everyone. The restaurant was also clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a relaxing

My wife and I had the AYCE lunch and we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food as well as the excellent service. We first tried some items off the starter section (salmon skin salad, agedashi tofu, seaweed salad, and some tempura). The salmon skin and the seaweed salads were great while the other items were average. The nigiri sushi pieces were cut smaller and contained an appropriate amount of rice, which made it easier to order a variety of sushi, followed by repeats of our favorites. Everything was fresh and of good quality. Scott was super attentive and had a very pleasant demeanor the entire time we dined. We will come back whenever we want AYCE sushi.
